Robbie Williams has insisted he will reunite with Take That one day. The 51-year-old was originally part of the line-up in 1990 but left in 1995 however was seduced back for a brief period following the success of their massive Circus tour in 2009.
Since then Rob has been focusing on his solo career, however he has remained friendly with his former bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald.
He even brought Gary in to write for his upcoming album Britpop on a track dedicated to Morrissey.
Now the trio are bringing back the iconic Circus tour for 2026, and whilst Rob said he wont be joining them for that as Britpop is out out next month, he is confident that hell stand alongside them again.
Speaking about the 2009 tour, Rob said: That was what did it. You know, Gaz came round to the house in Los Angeles and he had a copy of the show and he played it to me and I just stood, literally stood, didnt sit, stood and watched it spellbound.
Loved it, and I was like, I want back in.
And then the boys are redoing the Circus tour and its a great idea and, you know, its caught everybodys imaginations and the tickets are doing incredibly well.
Robbie joked it made him consider re-creating his three biggest shows at Knebworth which took place back in 2003: And it got me thinking, I was like, maybe Ill do the Knebworth show.'
He continued to make it clear that he wont be on the Circus tour, adding: I did love it last time. Not right now. Im sure we will ride again, but its not in my plans right now.
However, the reunion may be a while off as Rob revealed that he has five albums ready-to-go after Britpop lands on February 6.
Speaking on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, the singer said Ive got five in the chambers, and teased the next LP will be experimental: I'm doing an album for me, me. I don't know if anybody would like it at all but I'm doing it for me, me, the next one.
