Rock DJ star Robbie Williams has admitted he was disgusted at his past "mean" behaviour after watching Take That's new Netflix docuseries. The former Take That man revealed he's apologised to his previous bandmate Gary Barlow time and time again but the show left him cringing.

Performing at London's O2 Academy Brixton, Rob included tracks from his debut solo album Life Thru A Lens including Ego a Go Go - Written about Gary in 1997, two years after he quit the band.

And before he performed that particular song, he told the crowd he had watched the Netflix special.

He said: "What an a**hole I am in episode two.

"The smuggest person that has ever lived in the world.

"Gary Barlow was supposed to be mean but I am f***ing mean. A horrible d***head I was.

Rob added that he has since apologised to Barlow "a million times" before suggesting he was being honest at the time.

He laughed: Its not nice now but it was f***ing fun at the time.

The Let Me Entertain You hitmaker pleased the packed crowd with hits from his back catalogue as well as ones from his most recent album Britpop.

Angels was a real highlight of the evening as everyone sang along with Rob - And he took a moment to thank them for supporting his solo career and standing by him as if he were their favourite football team.

He said: "What I managed to do is stretch, with my career, an elastic band from Stoke-on-Trent to the moon.

"It feels like the simulation theory might be real.

"It feels like The Matrix may exist, because Im not supposed to be here with 16 number one albums.

"At some point in these 36 years, you guys decided that I am your football team. And I f****ing love being your football team.

"Thank you very f***ing much."
