Robbie Williams has opened up about his battle with substance abuse in a candid new post on his Instagram. The 52-year-old revealed he was just 16-years-old when he first experimented with drugs, admitting the experience left him feeling like "he'd never come back again".
In a honest reflection, Robbie described himself as "addict/alcohol-shaped" from a young age, recalling how he began drinking at just 13 after mixing "all the liquors in mum's drawer" into a empty milk bottle.
He went on to detail a terrifying first encounter with acid at only 16-years-old, writing: "Id look at the clock S***, its 11:45. Ive got hours left. Then Id check again an hour later and it was 11:46.

The Angels hitmaker didnt hold back, branding the experience the worst of his life and joking a more accurate name for the drug would have been "acute psychosis paper".
Rob also revealed how he would turn to his mum's weight-loss pills to give him "energy" for football and make him more "chatty" and joked that despite her repeatedly hiding them from him he would always find them,
The former Take That star quipped: "I am a truffle pig for pharmaceuticals. Honestly, I think it might be one of my gifts. Put them anywhere; I'll find them."
Summing up the lengthy Instagram post, the singer joked that despite being sober for over two decades he shouldn't be left alone with substances.
He wrote: "I am highly trustworthy. Give me 25,000 to look after, come back in 15 years, I'll hand it back untouched. But leave me with 25 Adderall come back 15 days later and they were gone 10 days ago."
Rob summarised: "So I suppose what I'm saying is: I'm highly trustworthy. Except around cake, coke and pills."
