Scouting For Girls frontman Roy Stride has revealed the bizarre farmyard incident that made him ditch vegetarianism - after being attacked by a sheep.
The singer opened up about his baad day ahead of Y Not Festival, admitting he went from loving the fluffy animals to being left terrified by one particularly aggressive ram.
Roy, 47, explained that after moving from London to the countryside, he set up a studio next to his home, with a field nearby where a farmer kept rams during lambing season. He said: "I used to love sheep and think they were so pretty until I went into the field and this sheep attacked me."
The singer joked the shock encounter was enough to send him back to eating meat.
"I literally started eating meat after that, he admitted.
But the sheep wasnt the only unusual thing Scouting For Girls have been forced to put in their mouths during their career.
The band previously travelled to Papua New Guinea for TV show Singing In The Rainforest , where they lived with a tribe, taught them their hit Shes So Lovely and learned a local song in return.
The experience came with an unforgettable meal - including cassowary, a giant flightless bird described by bandmate James Rowlands as the most dangerous bird in the world.
James joked the creature was related to dinosaurs and could "rip you apart", while Roy admitted the unusual feast was another reason he eventually became vegetarian.

After years of pressure following the bands early success, Roy said Scouting For Girls are now enjoying their career more than ever, with zero pressure as they continue playing shows and festivals.
The band brought their feel-good hits to Y Not Festival alongside headliners Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs and Scissor Sisters, and are performing across the UK this Summer - hopefully with no more run-ins with angry animals.
In 2027, Y Not Festival will return to the Peak District from 29 July 1 August for a special 20th anniversary edition. Tickets are on sale Friday 7 August, and the pre-sale sign up is available at ynotfestival.com/2027-pre-sale.
