Prime Minister Andy Burnham is hitting the road this week for a massive nationwide tour aimed at proving he's a true man of the people. Downing Street insiders say the new PM wants to give Brits some vital "breathing space" during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, promising a raft of measures to stop consumers getting ripped off.
As part of his grand "10-year plan to bring back hope", Andy will be kicking off in listening mode. While official aides are plotting visits to industrial heartlands like Port Talbot, where the final blast furnace was shut down in 2024, we reckon boring town halls and stiff ribbon-cutting ceremonies won't cut it.
If the Prime Minister truly wants to show he understands everyday life, he needs an itinerary with a bit of real British graft, grit and chaos.
Here at the Daily Star, we've put together an unofficial wish list of the ten places the PM must visit if he wants to win over the country.
[A general view shows Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands]Forget high-level diplomatic summits in Edinburgh. The Prime Minister needs to hire a boat, slap on a high-vis jacket and patrol Loch Ness armed only with binoculars and a net. If he can broker a trade deal with Nessie, sorting out foreign policy will be a doddle.

[]Nothing screams "I get the cost of living crisis" quite like taking on the UK's tallest rollercoaster in a freshly ironed three-piece suit. We want to see Andy's famous hair stay in place as he shouts economic policy updates directly into a GoPro on the big drop.

It's the ultimate test of political agility for the good of the nation.

[Great Yarmouth]No summer tour is complete without a seaside showdown. Andy needs to strap into a bumper car to dodge aggressive pensioners at the arcade before tackling the final boss: eating a bag of chips on the seafront without a massive three-foot seagull swooping in to nick his sausage.
