Around 100 Russian spies 'killed or wounded' in 'Armageddon strike' on Putin's FSB HQ

Vladimir Putin's elite spy network has been hit by a catastrophic blow after a Ukrainian "Armageddon" strike reportedly killed or injured 100 security agents. Dramatic video footage captured the relentless assault, which targeted an FSB intelligence base in occupied Kherson.

The high-stakes operation was executed by a swarm of drones launched by Kyiv's SBU security service. The precision strike sparked massive, fiery explosions that completely obliterated a multi-storey fortress and flattened several neighbouring buildings.

A triumphant Volodymyr Zelensky praised the devastating outcome of the raid, which marks yet another humiliating setback for Putin and the Kremlin's forces, reports the Mirror.

He said: "A headquarters of Russian FSB officers was struck and a Pantsir-S1 air defence system was destroyed in our temporarily occupied territory."

"Thanks to this operation alone, Russian losses amount to around 100 occupiers killed and wounded. The Russians must feel that they have to end this war of theirs."

He pledged further attacks deep within Putin's territory should the Kremlin refuse peace negotiations. He said: "Ukrainian medium- and long-range sanctions will continue to work."

Telegram channel Ukraine Context branded the attack "carpet bombing" of the FSB headquarters in Kherson region.

It said: "Result: around 100 Russians - killed and wounded. Operation carried out by the SBU's Alpha unit. Simply Armageddon."

The renowned Russian Pantsir-S1 system - deployed to protect Putin's numerous palaces - failed to prevent the strike and was itself reportedly demolished. There was no immediate reaction from Russian sources regarding the attack.

It comes as Putin took personal command of massive Russian nuclear war games this week, ordering a terrifying flurry of test launches in a direct show of strength to the West.

The dictator teamed up with fellow Belarus despot Alexander Lukashenko to oversee the chilling exercises. In a high-stakes display, Putin ordered a nuclear-capable Yars intercontinental ballistic missile to be blasted from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, successfully striking a target 3,500 miles away in Kamchatka.

He also ordered the launch of a deadly Tsirkon [Zircon] hypersonic missile from a frigate in the Barents Sea, alongside a Sineva missile fired from a nuclear-powered submarine.

Putin - wearing a sharp suit rather than military fatigues - monitored the chaos as Russia's commander-in-chief.

The Russian defence ministry said: "All nuclear force training objectives were fully accomplished, and the missiles reached their targets, confirming their specified performance.
