Believe In Me will limp into the top 200 of the UK singles chart tonight, meaning it will record the lowest spot for a UK entry since the contest started back in 1959.
The track by 1980s star Tyler, 61, was first released in March but failed to chart despite a massive publicity drive.
And hours before last nights extravaganza, which was seen by up to 300million across the globe, sales still hadnt picked up.
A chart insider said: The song has failed to grab peoples imagination. Bonnie is no stranger to chart success so this is pretty embarrassing.
Even all the excitement around Eurovision this week didnt help. It looks like even the home crowd werent fussed about the track.
The song, which Tyler performed at the contest in Malmo, Sweden, will be one of just six UK entries in history which has failed to hit the top 50.
It is expected to be even lower than 2010 entrant Josh Dubovie, 22, who only managed No.179 with That Sounds Good To Me.
The dismal sales have come despite a high-profile performance on Graham Nortons BBC1 chat show earlier this month.
The track was also given a spot on the top playlist on Radio 2 and made record of the week soon after it was released.
Our insider added: Bonnie has a lot of fans but the fact is the song just isnt catchy enough.
A string of UK Eurovision entries have hit the top 10 in recent years including Scooch, Daz Sampson, 38, and girlband Precious.
And five of our songs have topped the chart, including Bucks Fizzs Making Your Mind up in 1981.
