Dunelm shoppers rush to buy 21 cabin bag 'perfect' for Ryanair and easyJet flights

Home furnishings retailer Dunelm is offering a fantastic deal on a cabin suitcase. It adheres to the strict size requirements of budget airlines Ryanair and easyJet, prompting a surge of interest from savvy shoppers.

The Dunelm Elements Hard Shell Suitcase, normally priced at 30, is now available for a reduced price of 21. The compact, wheeled suitcase measures H 55cm x W 40cm x D 20cm and is available in eight stylish colour options; however, it's only the aqua design that has had its price slashed.

For travellers seeking a larger luggage capacity, Dunelm also offers the same design in medium and large sizes.

Those looking for an alternative can consider the Lossga cabin bag backpack on Amazon, which claims to meet Ryanair's size requirements. This bag is available for 21.59 and has an impressive 4.6-star rating from 1,892 reviews.

Additionally, Argos is offering the IT Luggage World's Lightest 4 Wheel Soft Cabin Suitcase for 22.50, down from 45, reports Yorkshire Live.

Returning to the Dunelm Elements Hard Shell Suitcase, customers have raved about its excellent design.

One satisfied customer praised the product, saying: "Great sturdy suitcase suitable for free easyJet underseat use (we have flown twice with it)". Another customer chimed in: "I purchased this case for use as carry-on luggage for air travel. The dimensions are within the exact requirements for Ryan Air and (as theirs is the most restrictive) I knew it would be suitable for all other airlines. The case is of good quality but still light and has internal fastenings/zip compartment making it easy to pack and keep your contents organised and in place. It glides along with ease using the extendable handle to push or pull along. This is a great quality case for the price."

A third shopper was equally enthusiastic, saying: "Away for two weeks last month and flying Ryanair. The case is just perfect at a reasonable price. Lots of space for beach and evening wear, solid, nice colour (got a black as well) and no squabbles with Ryanair. Thank you Dunelm."

However, not everyone was completely satisfied. One customer who had packed the case too full and was unable to take it on board said: "I bought this as I wanted to fly with just an under seat cabin bag with Easy Jet. It matched up to the measurements for Easy Jet (I also measured it myself) but unfortunately it didn't quite fit in the measurement frame and had to pay for overhead luggage.

"I presume this is because it expanded slightly with the contents. Saying that, it is a really lovely, light weight suitcase that rolls seamlessly on the four wheels. Perfect size for 3 nights away but probably not much more. Very sturdy and a beautiful orange colour to stand out easily."

Another satisfied customer gushed: "Excellent quality suitcase and I love the colour, so many to choose from."
