Grimes has once again voiced her determination to shield her children from the public gaze. The Canadian singer is mum to X A-12, four; Exa Dark Siderl Musk, three; and Techno Mechanicus, two, whom she shares with ex-partner Elon Musk.
Musk, who is frequently seen alongside US President Donald Trump, has been involving his children with Grimes in his political activities. Last month, he even included their eldest son X in a televised White House conference without her knowledge.
This month, X also accompanied his father at an event where Trump praised Tesla cars outside the White House. Recently, on the platform formerly known as Twitter, 36 year old Grimes addressed the issue while discussing a fake post attributed to her that's resurfaced after first appearing in 2022, reports the Mirror.

In the bogus post, someone posing as Grimes discusses the "sexuality and kinks" of "Fortune 500 CEOs."
Grimes reposted the spoof post with a joke, prompting a fan to ask: "How to protect your children from this? Can't you wipe this garbage from the internet? Art imitates life and I hope you find a solution."
She responded: "I've seen how the internet destroyed one of my children's life, if I had the resources, I'd do everything I could to keep them far from the realities they will face one day. Hopefully, once they are matured and can understand the satire."
Grimes directly addressed the issue, stating: "I unfortunately do not control the internet and cannot wipe this from the internet. I have tried begging the public and my kids dad to keep them offline, and I've tried legal recourse. I follow you here I've seen young ppl destroyed by the internet too."
She continued: "The state of my children's lives being public is of grave concern to me and I think about how to solve this every day. It's insane to me that there's no way to deal with this. I would hope there was some law that would allow a parent to veto small children from living public lives but I don't even trust the law to help me now if I tried to invoke it tbh. We are in the Wild West of information content and the dismantling of privacy and it's very concerning."
This isn't the first time Grimes has publicly aired her grievances with Musk on X - a platform owned by Musk himself. Just last month, she pleaded with him to communicate with her regarding their child's health, warning of a potential "life-long impairment" without medical intervention.
