Hantavirus pandemic 'predicted' by online mystic in 2022 by 'time traveller'

An online mystic has been dubbed a 'time traveller' after predicting the hantavirus would spark global headlines the creepy post has rattled the internet, sparking fears another lockdown is coming

An eerie tweet predicting the outbreak of the 2026 rat-borne cruise ship virus is shaking the internet as social media users have hailed the soothsayer as a "time traveller".

In a creepy 2022 tweet, a X user named Soothsayer accurately foretold the arrival of the 2026 Hantavirus outbreak. The outbreak of the virus, with a 40% fatality rate, has the entire world looking at the infected cruise ship the MV Hondius as it edges closer to Europe.

The tweet, posted in June 2022, has been viewed millions of times and has amassed more than a quarter million likes. In a short but eerie message the seer wrote: 2023: Corona ended. 2026: Hantavirus.

Other X users erupted in confusion after unearthing the tweet. One commented: How the f*** he predicted pandemics better than world governments and scientists?

A second said: Time travellers could be preventing genocides or encounter living dinosaurs and instead they're using their powers just to farm likes on Twitter.

Another wrote: This time traveller called out Hantavirus nearly 4 years ago. I guess we are going to get new virus pandemic before GTA 6.

Other social media users declared that if another pandemic comes along, they wont be returning to lockdown-like conditions. One irate X user said: Im not going to lock down Im warning yall right now!

Symptoms of hantavirus often begin appearing within a week of exposure. However in rare instances the virus can remain dormant for up to two months, according to the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention.

Early symptoms can include fatigue, fever and muscle aches, particularly in the thighs, hips, back, and sometimes shoulders. A number of people who catch the virus experience headaches, dizziness and chills as well as abdominal problems, like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain.

Currently health officials in the UK are on the search for passengers who left the virus-infected cruise ship early as they scramble to find them. A total of seven UK nationals departed from the infected MV Hondius in the remote island of St Helena as one remains uncontacted.

Health officials have not revealed whether they are searching for a man or a woman, but have confirmed the person is a Brit who has not yet returned to the UK. A spokesperson for the UK Health Security Agency said: We are aware of seven British Nationals who disembarked the ship at St Helena on April 24.

Two of these individuals are now self-isolating in the UK while the others have not yet returned. Four of these individuals remain in St Helena and we are in touch with the relevant health officials to provide advice on contact management.

Tracing efforts are ongoing for the seventh individual, who we know has not yet returned to the UK.

"The cruise company confirmed that 29 passengers had left the cruise early and not re-embarked on April 24, and at this time there were not concerns about the virus spreading.
