Hoover H-DISH 300 review: An absolute game-changer for the kitchen

EXCLUSIVE: The Daily Star's resident 'please don't make me do the dishes' expert Adam Cailler tried the Hoover H-DISH 300, and was left feeling very, very happy

Looks small, but fits everything

I hate doing the dishes. Everyone does. So when I was given the chance by the excellent folk at AO to try out the Hoover H-DISH 300, I jumped at the chance and I have been completely blown away by its performance ever since.

If you are on the fence about upgrading your dishwasher, this model is a fantastic choice that ticks all the boxes, and I have now convinced a few colleagues to do the same.

Before I start the review, I also want to give a shout out to the two blokes who came to fit it. Their service was excellent, and despite the challenges my kitchen presented (like hidden piping...) they did a brilliant job and are a credit to AO.

Here is a breakdown of why I highly recommend it:

Incredible Capacity & Cleaning Power: Don't let its sleek exterior fool you; the inside is deceptively large. It easily accommodates all our pots, pans, and plates after a big family dinner.

A brilliant machine

The best part? You don't have to be a Tetris master to load it. It is impressively able to clean everything no matter how you put it in, and it consistently leaves no residue on items, giving you sparkling glassware and spotless plates every single time.

Quiet and Efficient: Nobody wants a noisy appliance ruining the peace in their kitchen. Thankfully, this dishwasher is as quiet as a mouse. It is also very fast, getting through heavily soiled loads in record time without compromising on the cleaning quality.

Safe and Cool: A major plus for households with young kids or tight galley kitchens is the temperature control on the exterior. Unlike older models I've owned, this one doesn't get hot at the front like many others, keeping your kitchen safe and comfortable.

Fun and Smart Features: It brings a bit of personality to the kitchen, too! It has a rather catchy little jingle when turning on, which is a fun touch. For the tech-savvy, it works seamlessly with the app, which has hundreds of cleaning modes tailored to whatever specific loads you might have.

However, if you prefer to keep things simple, the machine itself has 5 basic modes, which is pretty much all you'll ever need for daily use.

Final Verdict: The Hoover H-DISH 300 is a brilliant blend of smart technology, excellent design, and raw cleaning power. It's fast, quiet, and incredibly user-friendly. Highly recommended!
