Naughty naked cruise to sail from UK town this week and nudity will kick off from 7pm

If you find yourself wandering along the Exmouth seafront on Friday evening and spot a boat brimming with cheerful, unclothed individuals, don't second guess your vision it's the return of the town's most conspicuous summer event.

The Torbay Sun Club's annual Naked Boat Trip is making its 13th appearance on Friday, July 25, setting sail at 6.45pm from The Quay, and tickets are nearly sold out.

This event, exclusively for naturists, offers a fully ticketed, clothing-optional cruise up the River Exe, complete with food, music and an onboard bar. The vessel, Pride of Exmouth, will host live tunes from local band The Craving, a pasty, and a welcome drink all included in the 24 ticket price.

Post-cruise, guests can extend the merriment at a private social club. The event is conducted with utmost discretion and respect for public areas.

The lower deck is shielded, ensuring privacy where necessary, although those aboard may be basking in the sunshine.

The festivities continue into Saturday, July 26, featuring a meal, quiz, and disco held indoors at a private venue. Doors open at 6pm, nudity commences from 7pm, and the quiz gets underway around 7.30pm, reports Devon Live.

The event concludes with a dance session lasting until midnight. Tickets for the night are priced at 16 and include a full meal.

With many participants staying for the weekend, organisers suggest that some might spend the Saturday daytime at Budleigh Salterton's clothing-optional beach a well-known spot within the naturist community but welcoming to all. Located about four miles from Exmouth, it's a popular destination when the sun is shining.

To conclude the weekend, a swim and "bring your own food" barbecue is scheduled for Sunday, July 27, at Clyst Hydon's community pool near Exeter. The event, hosted by Larches Swim, will take place from 11am to 2pm.

The weekend's activities are organised by Bare West Events, a volunteer-led, non-profit group established in 2020 to champion naturism in the South West.

Over time, they've arranged a variety of events, from skinny dips to camping weekends, and have even journeyed to France for a week-long meet-up.
