Nikki Bella is keen to prove herself in the WWE's current landscape, vowing to "earn her spot" after making a triumphant return to the ring.

The 41-year-old wrestling star, who has also made a name for herself in reality TV, has been back in action in recent weeks, and on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, she secured her first singles win since 2018, defeating Chelsea Green.

Taking to X after her victory, Nikki expressed her gratitude to her devoted fanbase, known as the Bella Army, saying: "Thank you for tonight Bella Army! ! ! You know how to make your girl feel so good! !".

She then outlined her ambitions, stating: "Laid the foundation for myself tonight, now time to build, work even harder, stay fearless and eventually earn my spot in this new era! Won't be easy, but I'll never give up! (sic)".

In the match, Nikki emerged victorious after delivering her signature Rack Attack 2.0 move, although eagle-eyed fans noticed she initially seemed to be going for the original version of the move, which had previously caused her neck problems.

One fan pointed out the moment on social media, saying: "Nikki Bella forgot she retired the original Rack Attack and was initially going for it but then corrected herself and hit the 2.0 version."

Nikki responded, acknowledging the slip-up and attributing it to muscle memory, saying: "Exactly ... muscle memory is insane! I haven't done that since before neck surgery! Wild!".

She promised to delve deeper into the match and the concerning moment on the weekly Raw Recap podcast, which drops every Tuesday.

The drama didn't end with the match, however, as Nikki was subsequently attacked by Chelsea and her Service Hervice teammates Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, only to be saved by Stephanie Vaquer.

Nikki Bella's return to WWE might just be the beginning - her twin sister Brie could also be primed for a comeback.

Nikki's last solo bout in the WWE ring didn't go her way, finishing with a defeat at the hands of Ronda Rousey at the inaugural Evolution extravaganza back in 2018. Evolution has since returned for a second helping.

Nikki previously popped up in the 2022 and 2025 Royal Rumble matches and was initially set to duke it out against Liv Morgan at this year's Evolution, but that showdown got canned due to an injury.

During the preamble to their never-happened match, Liv got under Nikki's skin with a snide dig about her high-profile divorce from Artem Chigvintsev in an in-character spat on Monday Night Raw.
