Prince Harry has opened up on his famous ginger locks or not ginger, as he now claims. The Duke of Sussex, 41, who visited the UK last week, was appearing on Joe Marlers podcast Joe Marler Will See You Now when he talked about his personal appearance.

As well as discussing a number of serious topics, Harry also touched on lighter subjects such as his hair. When he was asked what people get wrong most about him, he said it was the colour of his locks.

He explained: Yeah, people think I'm ginger, but I'm more sort of like sunset, like Auburn. Yeah. I don't know why that's funnyUnless you want to call me ginge, you know, I got bullied a lot at school. It's called Carrot Top.

Harry also spoke about his beard after Joe, a former professional rugby player, said how nice it was. Harry responded: I trim my beard every sort of five, six days just to keep it a little bit tidy.

Nothing really happening on top. I get a haircut otherwise I try not to look at whats happening.

Prince Harrys appearance on Marlers podcast came ahead of a meeting with his father King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove last week.

It was the first time the monarch had seen his grandchildren, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, since Queen Elizabeth IIs Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the meeting had occurred and described it as a private family occasion. No photos, if any were taken, of the meeting were released to the public.

During the same interview with the rugby star, Harry also touched on how he used sport as an outlet to help him deal with negative emotions.

He said: Exercise, sport and being able to find the time to take yourself somewhere, do something repetition is great, have a routine.

Boxing, another thing that I really enjoy, just to let the aggression out, get a sweat on, to me it's always about getting a sweat on.

Away from the podcast, Harry also attended the Scottys Little Soldiers summer festival. The event, at Maxstoke Castle in Warwickshire, happened less than 48 hours after his reunion with his father.

At the event, for a charity that supports bereaved military children, Harry took part in a short question and answer session with the children. Harry has worked with the charity since 2017 and became an ambassador for them in 2023.

One of the children was seen asking Harry if he does anything to mark his mother's death. Harrys mother Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris on August 31, 1997.

In response, he said: Yes, we do lemon drizzle cake. I think traditions are really, really important, especially when theyre sweet.
