Prince Harry has reportedly given his friends an update on his father, King Charles III, following a recent visit to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, made an unexpected appearance at the Time 100 Sports Gala on Thursday, 16 July, where he was allegedly overheard discussing his trip to the UK the previous week with other guests. During the visit, Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, 44, and their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, had a private audience with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Harry, who attended the New York City event to deliver a speech, is said to have shared details of the trip with fellow attendees as he mingled. He notably discussed King Charles and his health struggles in recent years, following his diagnosis with an unspecified form of cancer in 2024.

According to Page Six, sources confirmed that Harry was heard saying his father is "doing great," as he continues to receive treatment for the illness.

Harry also reportedly told another guest that his children with the Duchess of Sussex "are growing like weeds," and admitted that Meghan and the children were "happy" to be back in California after their trip, reports the Express US.

Harry and Meghan visited the UK last week, with the duke not only participating in official public engagements during the trip but also attending several private meetings away from the public gaze.

Among these was a private gathering with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House, which was also attended by his wife, Meghan, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The family of four is also rumoured to have paid a visit to Harry's uncle Charles Spencer's Althorp Estate - the ancestral home of Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.

It is widely speculated that the family made a point of visiting Princess Diana's final resting place on the estate during their alleged stay. Meghan did not participate in any public engagements during the trip.

Meanwhile, the family reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla was kept private, with no official photographs of their visit being released by the palace.

The Monarch met with his son and his family shortly after the Duke left the Invictus Games in Birmingham. Meghan arrived in Britain for the first time in four years for the reunion, following much speculation about the visit.

Officials described the meeting at the King's Gloucestershire residence as a "private family occasion."

It marked the first time Prince Harry and Meghan had been in the UK together since 2022, when they attended the funeral of his grandmother, the Queen.
