Video gamers are poised to do battle in a desperate bid to get their hands on the sold out PlayStation 5 tomorrow.
Amazon and high street store Game have said theyll both have new stock of the much-wanted state-of-the-art machine from noon Thursday.
And now theyre braced for a huge rush as lockdown game lovers fight it out to get their order in ahead of the pack.
Experts have urged customers to be quick, so make sure you're signed in to your Amazon account and on Amazons PS5 page well ahead of time, ready to refresh. Also, make sure all your payment details are saved for a quick checkout - speed will be essential.
Sony's next-generation console boasts amazing lifelike graphics and near-instant access to hi-tech games like Demons Souls, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Assassins Creed Valhalla and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.
Fans are at fever pitch after rival Xbox launched its own new machine, the Series X, to instant a week ago.
Savvy gamers have for months been pre-ordering their PS5 console to ensure delivery first thing today.
That means many others will be left disappointed as its incredibly difficult to find a console when shops have been forced to close by the pandemic.
But there is now hope, with shopping giant Amazon promising a new batch of consoles.
The retailer emailed customers in the UK, Spain and Italy earlier this week confirming that it will release more stock from 12pm on Thursday.
But it will take a few days to get the PS5 to you and even estimated delivery times could change as the firm grapples with incredible levels of delivery orders across Britain.
"We will make every effort to deliver all orders as soon as possible," the email read.
If you order, we will email you with an estimated delivery date.
However, this may be subject to change."
High street store Game will also take orders on launch day, though it has stressed numbers are limited.
PS5 pre-orders went live back in September, but stockists promptly sold out.
The console went on sale in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea last week.
The main console costs 450 while the PS5 Digital Edition, which lacks a disc drive, is 360.
