Urine-smelling Trumps weirdest health fears from nappies to 'shrinking brain'

Donald Trump has been hit with a raft of bizarre claims about his health in recent years, including suggestions he smells like urine, wears a nappy and that his brain is shrinking

Donald Trump's health has been fiercely debated since he entered the White House, with the US President facing some bonkers allegations from smelling like 'armpits, ketchup a butt and make-up' to suggestions that his brain is getting smaller.

The latest has seen physical therapist Adam James allege that the American leader "consistently smells like urine" and is "not going to be around much longer". The medical professional believes the US President has congestive heart failure and chronic kidney failure.

Here we look at some of the most bizarre health fears Trump has been hit with over recent years....

Smells like armpits, ketchup, a butt and make-up

Back in 2023 the former Republican lawmaker Adam Kinzinger revealed what he believed Trump smelt like -and it wasn't exactly very flattering. He said: Its not good. The best way to describe it... take armpits, ketchup, a butt and makeup and put that all in a blender and bottle that as a cologne.

He added: Thats kind of that. Ive been amazed that everybody is just kind of learning about this now.

Im genuinely surprised how people close to Trump havent talked about the odour. Its truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can.

The former GOP lawmaker later went on to appear on the Jimmy Kimmel show to elaborate on his allegations about Trumps scent. He said: A little bit of a pungent odour, I would say. You definitely wouldnt want to bottle it up and wear Trump cologne.

A spokesperson for Trump previously fired back at the comment and stated: Adam Kinzinger farted on live TV and is an unemployed fraud. He has disgraced his country and disrespects everyone around him because he is a sad individual who is mad about how his miserable life has turned out.

The White House smells of cabbage

Its not just Trump who has been accused of having a strange smell. Numerous members of his top team have reportedly been spotted walking around with sauerkraut finely cut raw white cabbage hoping the dietary change will do them well.

Wall Street Journals Liz Essley Whyte stated: Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, and Vice President JD Vance are all on this eat-a-lot-of-steak-and-sauerkraut diet.

Despite their love for sauerkraut, Whyte isnt convinced the cabbage craze will bring any health benefits.

She stated: I dont think there are a lot of good studies that show exactly that sauerkraut can help you lose weight, but there have been a number of studies that have shown health benefits. Researchers have generally agreed that sauerkraut and other fermented foods can help with digestion and inflammation.

Whyte stated: "There was a 2025 study from UC Davis that suggested fermented cabbage could protect your gut and protect against illness. Basically, they found that the intestinal cells do better with sauerkraut."

"They help maintain the integrity of those intestinal cells. And, in general, that has a lot of other good health effects. Mainstream scientists, dieticians, are pro-fermented veggies. This is not something that is hotly debated."

Trump "smells of urine"

The US President has also been accused of smelling like urine. Adam James, a physical therapist with years experience treating elderly patients, has alleged the US president is "not going to be around much longer".

The medical professional claims Trump has congestive heart failure (CHF) which means his ticker isn't working effectively enough to clear fluid from the body and chronic kidney failure. To manage these conditions, James alleges Trump is likely on IV diuretics, which pull fluid from the body by forcing him to pee.

Mr James said: "I have just received a DM from a source who confirmed for me that the President consistently smells like urine because of his urinary incontinence.

"This is on top of his bowel incontinence that he's been famous for, for years. The source also states that the President is receiving daily IV medications. This explains why his hands bruise so frequently. Trump is consistently pictured with mystery bruises on his hands."

James continued: "If he was going to have daily IV medications, it would must likely be IV diuretics to get the fluid off of his body. Daily IV diuretics probably along with fluids to stop him getting dehydrated."

Trump's interesting "bulge" and nappy allegations

Earlier this year Trump was accused of wearing a nappy after a bizarre bulge was spotted beneath his trousers during a TV interview.

The US President sparked health fears after social media wags pointed out the worrying looking bump during a 60 Minutes interview. While chatting with CBS's Norah O'Donnell about a previous assassination attempt, viewers noticed something odd.

Posting on X during the interview, singer Bill Madden said: "Trump, sitting during his 60 Minutes interview shows not only how morbidly obese he has become, but that he wears a very thick adult diaper."

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, @epistemiccrisis posted a video blasting Trump. The physical therapist, who claims to have a doctorate and 14 years worth of experience in looking after geriatric patients, said the president "looked absolutely awful." He added: "He looks like some inflated him before he sat down."

Trump has long faced rumours that he may wear nappies. Speculation ramped up following allegations made by former Celebrity Apprentice staff member Noel Casler.

Casler, who was part of the Celebrity Apprentice team for six series, alleged in 2020: "He would often soil himself on The Apprentice set, he's incontinent."

He dubbed Trump's bowel movements "uncontrollable," adding: "He's worn diapers since probably the 90s, but I saw it first-hand in the 2000s on The Celebrity Apprentice in the late 2000s and we've have to stop the show and change him."

However White House spokesperson Steven Cheung dismissed the rumour as "not true." Trump's doctor insists the president is in "excellent" health.

Fears Trump's brain is shrinking

Back in February this year Adam James stated he believes Trump's brain is shrinking. During a speech in Davos in January Trump appeared to muddle up Greenland and Iceland and seemed to trail off mid sentence.

Speaking to US politics commentator David Packman, James stated: Thats all tied together. He added: The frontal lobe alerts us to when were doing something we shouldnt be doing.

His frontal lobe is shrinking inside his skull, and the MRIs will show this. Thats why [the Trump administration] has pivoted to the CT scans, because they dont want you to see that his brain is shrinking. So, the frontal lobe is stopping him from ordering his thoughts.

If its frontotemporal dementia, then the life expectancy after diagnosis is roughly seven to 12 years. Hes been displaying these symptoms since before he was elected in 2016.

His teams ability to hide his condition is effective to a degree. The main danger they have is he cant shut his mouth. They would never have had to comment about what happened if he hadnt mentioned his MRI.
