Two women ended up in a physical altercation in front of a coffin after discovering they were both romantically involved with the same unfaithful man.
The shocking dispute broke out during the man's wake, leaving attendees taken aback. One woman had been standing next to the coffin, whispering a heartfelt goodbye to the departed.
She was overheard saying: "Love, I'm going to miss you." However, her emotional farewell immediately aroused suspicion from another woman present. She jumped up and confronted the tearful stranger, demanding: "Who are you?" When the woman confessed she had been in a romantic relationship with the deceased, the situation escalated.
Both women claimed to be his partner, leading to a heated brawl right next to the coffin at the wake in Veracruz, Mexico.
Dramatic footage shows the coffin lid nearly being knocked off as the pair lunged at each other before being separated by a bystander.
The video has since gone viral on Instagram, amassing more than 150,000 views and hundreds of comments, as reported by creatorzine.com.
One individual commented: "They almost killed him again."
Another person joked: "He couldn't stand either of them anymore and preferred to die."
One user remarked: "Fighting over a dead person, how sad."
One commenter noted: "This isn't unusual, it happens all the time."
And another person quipped: "It's clear the deceased isn't going to heaven!"
Meanwhile, a woman has admitted to biting off her husband's tongue because he is "so f****** annoying", say police.
The woman, said to be in her 60s, bit off her boozed-up husband's tongue at a hotel in Vstervik, a city in Sweden. Police reportedly met him at the emergency room and found him to be drunk and unaware why his wife attempted to tear off his tongue.
The man's tongue was left hanging on by a thread after the horror attack. Police say the wife admitted that she unleashed the assault because he has "severe ADHD and that he's so f***ing annoying".
The woman has now been charged and the indictment said a fight had erupted between the pair in a hotel room before the man was left nearly tongueless. He needed stiches to repair his tongue.
