Thorpe Park is back with a bang for 2026 - and has unveiled a new "chill out zones" for those who need a break from thrill seeking.
The family playground for all reopened on March 27 and has launched new 'recharge for thrills' zone known as The Launch Pad - a dedicated space in the heart of the park designed purely for adrenaline junkies to take a breath.
Located on what used to be the large side of Amity Beach, the new zone will be a vibrant space where thrillseekers can get together, socialise and share experiences, making it the ideal pit stop before diving back into the action.
With warmer weather on the way, families with teens and thrill-seeking kids can enjoy 24 epic rides and attractions with soaring heights and stomach-flipping drops.
The park is also challenging visitors to challenge themselves on Thorpe Parks legendary Big 6 coasters, led by Hyperia, the UKs tallest, fastest and most weightless rollercoaster.
Standing at an eye-watering 236ft and reaching speeds of 81mph, Hyperia delivers unforgettable airtime moments and has fast become a must-ride for adrenaline lovers.
Others in the Big 6 include the explosive launch of Stealth, rocketing riders from 0-80mph in under two seconds, as well as The Swarm, which soars inches above the ground, plus the beyond-vertical drop of SAW The Ride.
Riders can then spin through volcanic forces on Nemesis Inferno, before taking on the ten iconic loop the loops of Colossus.
But it isn't just for older riders, younger thrill-seekers and families will find plenty to enjoy too from taking a flight on the family- friendly coaster Flying Fish, spinning and swooping on Zodiac, or enjoying classic theme park fun on Quantum, Rush and Samurai.
Water ride fans can cool off on some of the UKs wettest attractions, including the mighty Tidal Wave, twisting Storm Surge, and the multi-lane splashdown of Depth Charge. And with children under 1.2m visiting for free, theres no better way to kick-start their adrenaline apprenticeship.
A spokesman said: "Thorpe Park is a record-breaking theme park located in Chertsey, Surrey. After opening in 1979, it has evolved into the UKs leading thrill destination, boasting the highest concentration of thrill rides in the country. The Park is home to the Big 6 coasters - including Hyperia, the UKs tallest, fastest and most weightless rollercoaster which together pack in a huge 4,450m of twisting track, 25 jaw-dropping inversions and speeds of up to 81mph.
"In addition to its coasters, Thorpe Park is also renowned for having the UKs wettest water rides, the award-winning Halloween event, Fright Nights, and family-fun attractions like first-time coaster Flying Fish.
