Britain's oldest rescue dog is searching for a retirement home - aged 126.
Tiny, an 18-year-old Chihuahua, is the oldest pooch in all of Dogs Trust's rescue centres.
Charity chiefs are calling for people to look past the odd grey hair and give him a home.
Despite his age - the equivalent of 126 in human years - Tiny remains in good health enjoying gentle walks in the garden and long naps.
The fully house-trained dog does not need any medication. He is looking for a new home alongside his lifelong companion Wilma - nine-year-old long-haired Chihuahua.
The pair arrived at the centre two months ago after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them.
Tiny is the oldest pooch available for rehoming across the entire Dogs Trust network which includes 21 centres.
The average age of Dogs Trust residents is just 4.4 years and the charity said older ones often face a longer wait for their forever homes.
Dogs aged five and over typically remain in care for an average of 80 days, compared to just 34 days for younger ones.
Claire Rowe, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury, said: Sadly we find that older dogs do take longer to rehome due to their age.
However, if you can see past the odd grey hair, you will be surprised at how much they have to offer.
Older dogs are more likely to be fully house-trained and, as they are older and wiser, they usually know other training basics too.
And, as the saying goes, you can still teach an older dog new tricks.
As Tiny has lived with Wilma since she was a pup and the Trust is keen to rehome them as a pair.
They are looking for a quiet, adult-only household with a secure garden where they can enjoy a peaceful retirement together.
Claire said: Tiny is a true gentleman.
He may be 18 but he still enjoys exploring the garden and relaxing with his best friend Wilma.
Compared to Tiny she is a much younger lady but at nine-years-old she is also looking for her retirement home.
Tiny really proves that age is just a number, and wed love to see him spend his golden years with a family wholl cherish him just as much as we do.
