Residents who have seen council tax soar after the city authority effectively went bust have had to endure a year of industrial action.
Its seen trash pile up 21 tonnes of waste across the city last year and left Birmingham an international laughing stock.
Finally it appears the council and the Unite union are bashing out a deal that will see increased certainty for workers, on salaries and pension contributions.
