Aspiring fashion queen Phoebe Gates turned up at a New York Fashion Week show alongside her mum Melinda and the glamorous pair happily posed for photographs on red carpet outside

Glammed-up mum and daughter duo Melinda and Phoebe Gates turned heads during New York Fashion Week with the latter wowing the crowds in a daring number.

Phoebe, 20, stopped for snaps as they headed down the pre-show carpet at the Michael Kors show in Brooklyns Domino Park.

Braless Phoebe was wearing a plunging red dress paired with sandals and a red bag.

The youngest of the Gates kids is a Stanford University student and an aspiring fashion entrepreneur herself.

Her mum, 59, sported a figure-hugging dark green dress paired with a matching shrug and blocky black heels.

Phoebe is currently launching a sustainable fashion platform Phia with a college pal, and shes got more than 300,000 Instagram fans who follow her and her project.

The two students have already secured high-profile tie-ups with well-known designer brands such as Stella McCartney that are focused on sustainability.

Phoebe had previously been spotted at high-end fashion shows and parties in Paris and elsewhere in New York and she even had a stint as an intern at British Vogue.

Shes reported to have a net worth of about 8million, thanks to her mega-rich folks.

Her dad Bill, who spilt up with Melinda a couple of years ago, is the founder of Microsoft and is one of the richest people on the planet.

Since Bill and Melinda called it quits, theyve both been reported to have picked up new partners.

Bill, 67, has been spotted with Paula Hurd, the former wife of Oracle boss Mark Hurd, who died in 2019. Melinda whos thought to be worth about 8billion is said to have been seeing journalist Jon Du Pre.

Bill has been on record promising to leave his kids comfortably off but not giving them everything.

He once said: Our kids will receive a great education and some money, so they are never going to be poorly off, but they'll go out and have their own career.
