Bloke tackled after crashing New York Fashion Week runway in poncho and shower cap

YouTube prankster Fred Beyer was aggressively tackled by a huge security guard at New York Fashion Week after he crashed a runway show wearing a plastic poncho and pink shower cap

The YouTuber was tackled before he could make it to the end of the runway

A YouTuber was savagely tackled by security at New York Fashion Week after invading a runway show in a bizarre ensemble.

Prankster Fred Beyer managed to sneak into the prestigious fashion event during the Creatives Inc fashion show on September 9.

In video footage of the incident that has since gone viral, he can be seen strutting down the runway while donning a plastic poncho and pink shower cap.

He went shirtless underneath the plastic and completed the outlandish look with a pair of bright coral shorts and white trainers.

The YouTuber looked warily over his shoulder as he took to the catwalk but when he realised no one had noticed his infiltration, he continued strutting his stuff.

The crowd watched on calmly, appearing to mistake him for another model despite his odd get-up.

But just as he was making it towards the end of the runway Fred looked over his shoulder again and this time was met with a terrifying sight.

A huge security guard dressed all in black started charging at the prankster, who attempted to run away after spotting him.

But it was too late and the muscular guard quickly tackled Fred, wrapped his arms tightly around his chest and pulled him off the catwalk.

The viral video has had people in stitches with Twitter users finding the prank hilarious.

One person wrote: "Homie saw his life flash before him."

A second added: "Totally worth getting tackled for that!!"

"I seriously hope he gets offered a modelling gig after this," a third Tweeted.

He checked to see whether anyone had noticed him

Some even thought his weird outfit made him fit in perfectly at NYFW.

"This is just the latest in high fashion," one person said.

Another wrote: "All I see is an upcoming designer showcasing his work."

A third added: "Ive seen weirdo outfits from actual models. Doesnt surprise me nobody noticed."

Fred boasts 300,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, where he shares videos of all of his pranks.

The guard quickly grabbed him

His previous debauchery for the video platform has seen him "aggressively farting on strangers", sucking people's toes while they were getting a pedicure and pranking police officers by pretending to drink drive and pull fire alarms.

The YouTuber confirmed the NYFW disruption was his latest prank as he posted a picture of the incident to his Instagram story and announced there was a "banger dropping" at 5pm Eastern Standard Time.

Fred isn't the only person who's successfully crashed a show at this year's NYFW, which started on September 8 and comes to a close on Wednesday (September 13).

Fred was dragged out of the event

The opening day of the highly-anticipated fashion even saw PETA members interrupting Coach's runway show in protest over the brand's use of leather.

One of the protesters crashed the stage naked apart from bodypaint making it look like she'd been "skinned" with the words "Coach: Leather Kills" emblazoned across her chest.

Another protester followed behind her holding up a sign with the same phrase.

PETA said the purpose of the stunt was to "slam the brand for its cruelty to cows and its reliance on environmentally destructive leather products".
