Fears over Donald Trump's apparently failing health are rising. Sky News viewers expressed worries over Trump's health after footage from a live press conference in the White House was shown.
The President was seen signing his executive order on birthright citizenship and discussing the Iran conflict in the clip. However, viewers were more focused on his seemingly "unwell" appearance. Taking to X, they voiced their thoughts with one writing: "It's time for a medical examination and see how far along his dementia has come. This dude is gone..." Another concurred, stating: "Dementia is getting worse for diaper Donnie."
A third asked: "Is Trump okay? He sounds unwell." A fourth fumed: "The man is bloody delusional." Meanwhile, a fifth remarked: "He's been saying that since day 1, deluded.", reports the Express.
Earlier this year in June, Trump's own niece issued a grave warning about his health, alleging his condition is both mentally and physically deteriorating. Mary Trump, a psychologist and author, stated her uncle's "decaying" health can no longer be ignored and suggested he is caught in a "downward spiral".
White House spokesperson Steven Cheung robustly rebutted her claims, dismissing her evaluation and labelling her a "stone-cold loser who doesn't have a clue about anything". During the signing session, Trump discussed the Iran conflict and asserted the opposing country "couldn't go on much longer".
"Oil prices now are coming down very rapidly. If you look at oil prices, they are coming down very rapidly now...When I started the very important excursion into the Islamic Republic of Iran, it was a very important excursion because they can't have a nuclear weapon," he stated.
"Otherwise, the whole world would get blown up. We're not going to let that happen. Not only us, not only the Middle East. The whole world would have been. It would have been catastrophic. Oil was down to petrol was down at numbers that people hadn't seen in years: $1.85, $1.95. So it passed Tuesday. I was in Iowa at a stop, and we had 195, another one 185 a gallon.
"We'll see those days pretty soon again, based on everything I see, as soon as the war ends, and I think it's going to end pretty soon. I don't think they can go much longer."
Explaining his reasoning behind this statement, he said: "We have a thing called the blockade headed up by the U.S. Navy, and we control it. And now we control it, but they can always shoot something...or drop a mine.
"And if you have one mine sitting out there, you sort of mess things up because people don't want to take their billion-dollar boats and accidentally get hit by a mine. But I think we're doing very well. I'm involved in the negotiation. I think we're doing fine," he stated.
