Sleepy Donald Trump is facing outrageous allegations he filled a cathedral with a ghastly stench during a high-profile funeral. Social media users went into overdrive over footage captured during a solemn memorial service at Washington National Cathedral.

The 80 year old US President joined numerous American officials and international dignitaries to honour late South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham, who died unexpectedly earlier this month following an aortic rupture.

Trump was positioned directly in the front row of the crowded cathedral, yet online viewers were far more captivated by the gentleman seated behind him, who seemed to be battling against a dreadful smell.

Posting the footage on X (formerly Twitter), journalist Aaron Rupar commented: "Look at the guy behind Trump (who is asleep). It smells crazy back there."

The clip rapidly sparked a storm of responses, with social media detectives leaping to scandalous assumptions about the Commander-in-Chief.

One user declared: "Even at Lindsey Graham's funeral, Donald Trump s**** his pants. The poor secret service agent behind him looks like he is going to die." Another contributed: "Oh man that dude sniffed deep there for a second. Probably burned out some taste buds there my dude."

A fourth observer remarked: "You know Trump smells something fierce when the guy behind him has to clench his teeth and nose to soften the odour."

The White House robustly refuted some of the speculation, denying that Trump had fallen asleep. White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told the Independent: "President Trump was reflecting on the loss of his dear friend Lindsey Graham, who he just delivered a beautiful eulogy to. Anyone suggesting otherwise is a depraved moron."

Trump, who last year became the oldest individual ever to take up the presidency, has faced continuous scrutiny over his health since returning to the Oval Office.

This viral incident follows previous allegations concerning the President's personal health and physical condition that made headlines. Physical therapist Adam James, an expert with years of experience treating elderly patients, previously suggested the Orange Manbaby is "not going to be around much longer".

The healthcare professional alleged the US President suffers from congestive heart failure (CHF), a condition where the heart cannot pump efficiently enough to remove fluid from the body, alongside chronic kidney failure.

To manage these conditions, James informed his millions of social media followers that the 80 year old is likely administered IV diuretics, which expel fluid by inducing frequent urination.

James stated: "I have just received a DM from a source who confirmed for me that the President consistently smells like urine because of his urinary incontinence.

"This is on top of his bowel incontinence that he's been famous for, for years. The source also states that the President is receiving daily IV medications. This explains why his hands bruise so frequently."

He continued: "Diuretics pull fluids off your body by acting on your kidneys and making you pee a lot more. This would explain why he is peeing all the time on himself and smells like pee."
