'I was let go by WWE here's why internet rumours about my exit aren't true'

EXCLUSIVE Ex-WWE star Dijak has finally clarified rumours that his WWE contract was not renewed because he was 'leaking' confidential information to wrestling news sites

A former WWE star has addressed claims that his contract with the wrestling giants wasn't renewed because he was leaking information to news sites. Dijak was released by WWE in June when his contract ran out.

And ever since, rumours have swirled that this was because he was leaking storylines, surprise appearances and more to dirtsheets specifically the Fightful website. However Dijak, who is set to debut for Burning Heart Pro Wrestling in Liverpool next month, has finally spoken out about it and rubbish the claims.

Clarifying that his contract wasn't renewed, rather than him being released or sacked, he told the Daily Star: They (wrestling fans) try to find a reason (for someone being let go). Everyone has a reason which is either A. unknown or probably unknown, or B. You just try to guess, right.

For most people they look at the landscape, and they say 'Oh, that person just wasn't good enough, or they didn't get over, or their promos suck, or their wrestling sucks'

With me, I think everyone was kind of on the same page in terms of, 'oh, he's kind of having his best run, and he's doing his best promo work, and he's having his best wrestling matches well, there must be a reason'.

The rumours of Dijak leaking information came from a Reddit thread where someone claimed they watched an interview he gave where he admitted it.

However, what actually happened was that Dijak was on Twitch stream with fellow ex-WWE stars Mansoor and Mace, where he said he's spoken to someone called Sean shortly after being let go.

Sean in this case mean Sean Ross Sapp the man behind Fightful but this wasn't to leak anything, it's because Dijak was trying to sort an interview out with him post-release.

He went on: Someone who was watching that stream said, 'Oh, he just admitted that he was that he leaks to dirt sheets'.

I wanted to talk to these major platforms to be able to give my side of the story, and so a lot of people could hear it. So I'd done an interview right before that with Sean. It's online right now. It's on YouTube, you can tell it's time stamped.

If people really want to put the pieces together to all this they can, but they choose not to . . . none of that is true, none of that is based in reality, I was not a leaker.

The reality of the situation is that WWE talent don't know anything. Nobody called me like, 'hey, CM Punk is coming back at Survivor Series' I don't have that information and they barely give us the information about ourselves. I I found out a ton of my bookings because they got tweeted at me by WWE's NXT account!

And with that clarified, Dijak went on to talk about his upcoming UK shows for BHPW, where he is set to face Robbie X.

He will also give a seminar to up-and-coming talent(Image: Dijak)

Ahead of the shows, Dijak will give a seminar with upcoming talent, with one person from that session being given a chance to appear on the match card on either the Liverpool show or in Manchester the next night.

But what does Dijak look for in talent, and what does he expect from them? Well . . . a lot, but nothing he doesn't expect from himself, he said.

I couldn't be more passionate about the art of professional wrestling, and I want that to translate in my matches, he said. I want that to translate in my training, and when I do online stuff with the Dijak Wrestling Academy, I know that it translates there.

If you're at a seminar with me, what you're going to get is the second that that time hits, I'm going to talk for a couple seconds, and then we're going to get into the ring and it's going to be ring work.

I'm going to be assessing instantly, just immediate interactive feedback, where I want to hear what you have to say, you are going to hear what I have to say, and we're going to have a dialogue, and we're going to talk about what things can make you a better professional wrestler immediately. I'm going to give you as much value as you can possibly get out of me, because that is my mindset.
