A controversial influencer who prosecutors claim was romantically involved with up to 75 prisoners has been ordered to pay out 12.500 after admitting fraud charges.
Ash Trevino, 37, pleaded guilty to welfare fraud and fraudulent securing of document execution on 5 August. The 37-year-old - whose full name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino - avoided prison and will instead spend two years under community supervision in Texas.
The content creator, who has a huge online following, has repeatedly sparked controversy by discussing her preference for 'inmate-hopping' - dating men who are in prison or have recently been released.
TMZ published court filings which claim shes been involved with as many as 75 prisoners. In the filings Texas prosecutors allege Lopez-Trevino had relationships with approximately 50-75 inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice".
They claimed some of the prisoners were behind bars for violent offences, including aggravated robbery and murder. The alleged relationships were raised in documents connected to the fraud proceedings - Lopez-Trevino did not plead guilty to any offence relating to those relationships.
Prosecutors also criticised what they termed as "panhandling" on TikTok. They claimed Lopez-Trevino had solicited financial donations before revealing health information about a dependant.
The filings also voiced concerns over sexually explicit videos and livestreams allegedly uploaded by the influencer. Lopez-Trevino was initially arrested in Texas on 17 December 2025 after police stated she had active felony warrants.
She was booked into Ellis County Jail before being released on a 11,000 bond. In livestream clips shared following her release, the influencer said she had engaged a solicitor and intended to contest the charges.
However she was taken back into custody in March after prosecutors alleged she had violated her bail conditions.
They claimed she had consumed alcohol at a birthday party on one occasion and purchased alcohol at a restaurant on another.
Her legal team refuted at the time that she had breached the terms of her release.
Under the resulting plea agreement, Lopez-Trevino must now complete two years of supervision and fulfil the other court-ordered requirements while repaying the money owed to the state.
