A Kick streamer has been slammed for setting off firecrackers next to a sleeping homeless person.

The streamer, who goes by the name BIGSIIX, faced a backlash from the platform's users for what was described as a dumb prank. On June 9, BIGSIIX streamed a video where he pretended to be homeless and played a prank on a real homeless person by using firecrackers.

After cruising around town, the streamer and their friend encountered a person sleeping on the sidewalk. They decided to set up a prank by placing firecrackers beside the sleeping individual.

There's lots of quality news coming out of the US.

As soon as they were lit, the streamer rushed back to the car, and they managed to escape right before the firecrackers started exploding.

The man rushed towards the car, but it wasn't clear if he was chasing the streamer, or if he simply wanted to escape the explosions.

However, BIGSIIX and his friend couldn't help but laugh as they drove away from the scene, with one giggling and telling his friend: "Go, go, go!"

The pair then drive around the corner and the clip finishes shortly afterwards.

Their firecracker clip quickly circulated on social media, prompting X users to criticize the duo right away.

One queried: "Why would he do that?"

Another said: "Man people do some dumb things for no reason smh."

While a third added: "Insane people, this is ridiculous."

Currently, Kick has not taken any action against BIGSIIX, and his channel is still fully operational.

However, according to Kicks community guidelines, intentional violence is prohibited.

But they say: "Instead of blanket punitive measures that may foster resentment or additional disruptive behaviours, we believe in a reformative approach that involves working collaboratively with our Creators."
