A lip reader has spotted a remark Donald Trump made to a UFC fighter following comments he made about former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Trump, who turned 80 on Sunday, was speaking to UFC fighter Josh Hokit during a UFC fight being held at the White House for the first time, specifically the UFC Freedom 250.

The event occurred as part of the Trump administrations celebrations of the USAs 250th birthday. And, as expected with a UFC event on the lawn of the most famous building in the world, it led to a number of surreal sights.

Heavyweight fighter Josh Hokit was among those involved but left people stunned with what he said after defeating Derrick Lewis on the famous South Lawn. Speaking to podcaster Joe Rogan, he shockingly said: Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?

In response, Joe decided not to respond to the comments, instead commenting: Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.

Following his victory against his rival Derrick Lewis, Josh was seen talking to Trump who stood on the ground by the ring. Lip reader Jeremy Freeman has now told us what he thinks Trump said to Hokit.

Jeremy says that after Trump had a chain draped around his neck by Hokit, he said: Too kind, thank you. You are the champion.

The spectacle, while proving controversial, was hugely popular within MAGA circles. Secretary of state Marco Rubio went so far as to compare the hosting of the fights to the moon landings in 1969.

He said: When President Kennedy announced that we were going to put a man on the moon and return him safely to the earth, no one thought that was possible, and we did it,

We are a nation founded on doing what no one else dared to do, and no one else aspired to do. And at some level, thats what this whole company, what UFC has been.

Meanwhile, others have suggested that the UFC fights are not just some grandiose show, but symbolic of what MAGA and Trump stand for ideologically.

Speaking to the Financial Times, sociology professor at SUNY Brockport Kyle Green, who looks at the relationship between US politics and sport, explained: The UFC is probably the most visible Maga-coded thing there is right now. On the superficial level, it is about beating the other person up, about saying you are stronger, and saying you are tougher.
