An online gaming platform popular with children and teenagers has seen anti-ICE protests being sparked after some users on the popular Roblox game reenacting immigration raids.

Dozens of videos of been shared online showing multiple players, posing with weapons and dressed like ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents, waiting outside

Some users have donned ICE gear and carried out raids on a popular roleplaying game within Roblox. Other young people on the platform have taken to the virtual streets with signs in their avatars hands in protest, expressing sentiments like We hate ICE (all signs are free of expletives, of course, which are banned on Roblox).

A TikTok account has amassed millions of views after sharing these reenactments as well as the protests that were sparked.

According to AP, the ICE raid videos were taking place on a private server as the company behind Roblox has said "swift action" would be taken.

ICE's actions have sparked protests across the US after multiple incidents have sparked ugly scenes and two people losing their lives.

The demonstrations against President Donald Trump administrations immigration crackdown in cities such as Minneapolis saw federal agents killed two residents, Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

The mayor of Portland, Oregon also demanded ICE leave the city after federal agents launched tear gas at a crowd of demonstrators, including young children.

The internet has been torn over the ICE reenactments with some calling them "funny" and saw them as mocking ICE activities. While others saw the actions such as a protests as allowing young people to express their voice. It is also not the first time Roblox users have protested as back in August last year, similar scenes were recorded and published on TikTok and X.

A Roblox spokesperson told AP that the reenactments of immigration raids are in violation of the platforms community standards and said the company takes swift action against users found to be violating those policies.

The user guidelines state that Roblox prohibits content that recreates specific real-world sensitive events, mocks the victims of such events, supports, glorifies, or promotes the perpetrators or outcome of such events or capitalizes on these events for commercial purposes.

The spokesperson added: "No system is perfect, but we work to strengthen our user protections every day."
