Taylor Swift fans have demanded that Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk be "locked up in horny jail" for his public fawning over the singer.
Taking a break from tweeting memes, the 51-year-old decided to focus his attention on the 33-year-old pop star.
As Swift began her new Eras Tour in Arizona, Musk battered the screen of his phone - first replying to Dogecoin founder Billy Markus with a bizarre compliment for the singer.

Markus wrote: Taylor Swift rules and if you disagree youll be kicked off the internet im pretty sure.
Her limbic resonance skill is exceptional, Musk replied.
According to the website Psych Mechanics, limbic resonance is defined as a state of deep emotional and physiological connection between two people."
He then targeted Swift directly, sending her a single emoji response.
Swift's official account posted a series of photos of the star with Musk replying with a cigarette emoji, seemingly saying that she is 'smoking' - as in smoking hot.
Musk also reacted to a post from a user called Teslaconomics, which asked whether Musk and Swift would make a cute couple. The billionare replied with a crying laughing emoji.
Several Twitter users replied to his public displays of affection saying that he needs to go to horny jail.
You stay away from her, one person wrote, while another commented: Elon Musk better leave Taylor Swift alone dawg.
Another Twitter user said his "swooning" over Swift was "creepy and not a good look".
"Taylor swift would never get with a doofus Republican misinformationist. Shes already got a good dude," added another.
