A sex doll company has been forced to introduce weight-loss surgery for its silicone dolls after user complaints.

Starpery hit the headlines earlier this year when it announced it was making 'next gen AI-powered sex dolls with focus on emotional connection. But while those are still in development, many users are still after good old lifelike silicone version from the Chinese company.

New 'weight loss' surgery has been introduced

In a blog on the company's website, they said: Traditional silicone dolls are chosen by lots of doll users for their high realism, but the problem that has plagued doll lovers for years is the weight and softness of silicone dolls.

Starpery has been focusing on solving this big problem since the establishment of the brand. We have been developing and testing with our factory since the end of 2019.

Although we have experienced countless failures and setbacks, faced millions of consumption pressures, we are still determined to upgrade the weight reduction tech to the end.

With unremitting efforts, we successfully launched Weight Reduction 3.0 in 2021. A doll can be 3.5-10kg lighter on average, which has brought hope to lots of doll users and allowed them to choose the type of doll they originally liked.

But Weight Reduction 3.0 had it's downfalls, the company claims, leaving users and dolls with two issues:

As a result of that, they have now confirmed the launch of Weight Reduction 4.0, which achieved super lightweight and soft silicone dolls.

They also revealed that 13 body types can be made using the new system of production although Weight Reduction 5.0 is already being looked at for future body types.
