Moonpig issues warning after catching customers doing something extremely rude

Moonpig customers were left stunned after the greeting card retailer was forced to send a warning to shoppers about uploading explicit imagery to their personalised gifts and cards

Moonpig customers have been left in stitches after the greeting card retailer was forced to warn against something rather rude.

The website and app offer thousands of personalised and ready-made cards for occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and more. Users are able to change names, add messages and even upload photos to add that more thoughtful touch to your order.

But their social media team have had it with people uploading explicit images to the site, to be printed on one of their personalised cards and gifts. In a video on TikTok, which has gained more than 135,000 likes, the official account warned: "Please don't upload your n00ds to our cards."

Content cannot be displayed without consent

They added in the caption that the rule is written in the Terms and Conditions on the website which is completely true. It states: "You should not use or include any content or material on any Personalised Products which:... is pornographic, obscene, indecent or offensive, has sexual connotations or promotes sexually explicit material."

It also warns that you could be banned from ordering from the company if break the rules. A full list of restrictions can be found on their website. TikTok users were left cackling with laughter at the warning as many thought it was common sense. One user said: "What happened to hello how are you," as Moonpig replied: "Exactly."

Another quipped: "Save that for Funky Pigeon," while a third joked: "People are doing WHAT to poor Moonpig???" Someone else penned: "Someone is deleting that pic of their m***e from their Moonpig basket rn."

But thankfully, there is an upcoming special occasion that will give the Moonpig staff some respite from the images.
