Ibiza tourists are being robbed as they bonk on the beach. Crime is soaring on the hedonistic Spanish island with thieves seeking to catch partygoers off guard.
Shockingly, among the typical opportunistic thefts is tourists having their belongings stolen while in the middle of enjoying an alfresco romp, according to the National Police.
Other moments prime for swiping phones, wallets and goodness knows what else from holidaymakers include when they're swimming and of course partying.

'Operation Summer 2024' was launched by Ibiza authorities as early as April to increase the presence of police on the island using units from the mainland for the duration of peak season.
A National Police spokesman said more than 100 arrests for robbery and theft had been made in Palma on the neighbouring island of Majorca between mid-April and mid-June.
The Majorca Daily Bulletin reported the authorities' warning that those most vulnerable to theft are foreigners on the beach at night because petty criminals are "taking advantage of the fact that tourists come to the beach to bathe, have sex or meet in groups".
Police officer Rafael Jiminez explained of all the Balearic islands, Ibiza's crime rate is the worst.
"New figures that we have just received show that crimes have increased dramatically. Above all, it is robbery. Ibiza is the worst affected of the Balearic islands," Jiminez told Swedish newspaper Expressen.
It's not just going down on beaches, though, with properties also being raided by crooks connected to the Ibiza's huge drug trade.
Jiminez added: "People are robbed in their homes, even when they are at home sometimes. Then we have a lot of drug trafficking, he says. We are an island with lots of parties, discos and clubs. Drugs are very much connected to that business it's increasing too much right now."
