Spaceship 3I/ATLAS is aliens and NASA have got it wrong says expert who cites Trojan Horse

NASA has been pretty firm in its claims that 3I/ATLAS is NOT an alien spaceship hurtling towards earth, but expert Avi Loeb still maintains that it really probably maybe is one

The alien spaceship NASA claims isn't an alien spaceship is, in fact, still an alien spaceship an expert has claimed. A back-and-forth battle between NASA and scientist Avi Loeb has been taking place for months over the mystery space object (probably a comet) called 3I/Atlas.

The make-up of the interstellar visitor has left boffins baffled for months. Some experts claim it is a comet, but theoretical physicist Loeb has suggested it could be an alien "mothership" on a reconnaissance mission as it blasts through the Solar System at 130,000mph.

Even SpaceX chief Elon Musk has conceded it could be of alien origin and urged space chiefs to continue to monitor its approach to make sure we know where it is going.

But really, what IS it?(Image: David Jewitt and Jane Luu)

But during a press conference held by NASA last night, the space agencies Associate Administrator Amit Kshatriya immediate set the record straight.

While not saying alien spaceship, he was clear that NASA believes it moves and behaves like a comet. But Loeb has hit back with possible historical evidence and slammed NASA for basically taking the easy road during the press conference.

The Israeli said on his latest blog: NASAs representatives should have emphasised what we do not understand about 3I/ATLAS rather than insist that it is a familiar comet from a new birth environment.

What could it be?(Image: NASA)

They stated that 3I/ATLAS does what comets do, namely shed gas and dust and responds to gravity. But a spacecraft that collected dust and CO2, CO & H2O ices on its surface by travelling through the cold interstellar medium could have also developed an outer layer of dust mixed with ices that sublimate when illuminated by sunlight.

We should not 'judge a book by its cover,' because we all know about the Trojan Horse which appeared unthreatening to the guardians of the City of Troy.

When monitoring an interstellar visitor, we should not fall prey to traditional thinking but scrutinise new interpretations the public resonates with science as a learning experience, where the collection of evidence leads the way to new knowledge rather than reinforces variants on past knowledge.

He later called NASA boffins bureaucrats or unimaginative scientists and called on NASAS to check whether or not any new objects have accompanied the comet/spaceship or detached from it since it started its journey towards Earth.

But, as they say, the truth is out there and for once, it might be on its way here.
