A waitress at a diner has been fired after posting a viral TikTok of a customer eating dinner with a blow-up doll.
The waitress, who goes by Tbone on social media, admitted in the video that she should not be filming at work in North Carolina, but that she simply could not resist snapping a quick shot of this man who was sitting at his table across from a lifesize inflatable doll as if it were perfectly normal.

In the video, people can clearly see a man in a pink polo sitting at his table and reading the menu with two drinks in front of him. One for him and one for his blow-up doll who is leaned back against the chair across from him.
The video garnered 2.5 million views on TikTok, and despite getting fired, the waitress said she does not regret posting it.
Speaking to the Charlotte Observer, the waitress said she was: Ready for new opportunities, so it wasnt too much of a shock, thank goodness. Sort of shocked at how viral it went though! My friends parents were telling me theyve seen it.
Despite being fired for the video, commenters on the TikTok were very entertained by it.
One commented: Thank you for risking your job for this. Another said: As long as he doesnt ask to split the check!
For people wondering why this man was sitting with a blow up doll, he commented on the original video saying: I LOST MY FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE MAN.
He also posted his own video of the event explaining that it was part of a forfeit from losing his fantasy football league. On his own account, called Papi Chulo, he posted an image of him sitting across from the doll with the caption: I want to cry. But, despite holding back tears, he went on to order her a salad and a glass of water, like a gentleman.
