WWE crowds 'flock to the toilet' during Ronda Rousey's 'last' Summerslam match

Ronda Rousey is a mutli-time champion in WWE, but fans have apparently grown tired of her and were seen flocking to the toilets and bars during her apparent final match with the company

WWE star and former UFC icon Ronda Rousey appears to have ended her latest stint in the world of wrestling on a sour note with fans seemingly not caring.

Rousey took to the ring on Saturday (August 5) to battle former friend and partner Shayna Baszler at Summerslam.

But many fans did not stick around to see it, if video footage from the event is anything to go by.

Footage appearing online shows dozens of fans leaving to go to the bars and toilets at the Ford Field arena in Detroit in droves as Rousey entered the venue to her classic Bad Reputation theme song.

Her popularity with WWE fans has dwindled in recent months, having started strong with her Wrestlemania debut as part of a tag team match alongside Kurt Angle against HHH and Stephanie McMahon.

But since then, and despite several championship reigns, fans have taken issue with her microphone skills and criticised her matches.

And the video from Summerslam appears to show that disdain has now boiled over.

Rousey lost to Baszler, and the fight was marred by the crowd chanting for other wrestlers as well as breaking out a this is boring chant, and it has now been claimed that Rousey is done with WWE for the time being.

According to wrestling historian and gossip merchant Dave Meltzer: It may be the end, period.

So the whole deal was that Ronda, you know this looked to be, its my last match and Shayna is the one who got me into this so if I have to go out then Im losing by submission', because nobody was allowed to beat Ronda by submission, that was the key.

So, she did it, with her best friend, and I mean, in theory its great for Shayna if they follow up on it, so well see.

Rousey has not commented publicly since the match, and her future remains in doubt.

But if the fan's reaction to her is anything to go by, she won't be welcomed back any time soon.
