Balding man's hair transformation turns him from 'Friar Tuck' into tattooed hunk

The man showed off his new look after getting a hair replacement system from salon Novo Cabelo, and people were amazed when he revealed the result in a TikTok video

Hair replacement produces incredible results

A tattooed man with battling hair loss was completely transformed by a makeover.

He visited "miracle maker" salon Novo Cabelo in Durham where stylist Bobie Morland gave him a hair system.

In the video the company shared on TikTok, the client showed his receding hairline that revealed his face tattoos .

The thinning on the top around the crown made him look years older.

So Bobie shaved off the "unruly" hair and trimmed it on the side to an above-ear length.

And the result was truly stunning.

With a colour-matched hair replacement system glued on his head, he gave a 180-degree look to viewers - showing both the top and the side.

He looked into the camera with a firm, poised look, leaving many fans hot under the collar.

One joked he looked like Robin Hood character Friar Tuck beforehand, while others commented "wowza" and "oomph" at the transformation.

"Wow who would have thought he would look even cooler than before?" a third added.

A fourth couldn't resist and posted with fire emojis, writing: "Ooh la la."

Some were interested to know about the hair replacement system, which is a patch of real hair with breathable film attached to the scalp.

Owner Rob Wood explained it doesn't require a wash every day and it can be submerged under water.

He suggested to re-glue it every three to six weeks and replace a new one six months later.

Novo Cabelo went viral two years ago when pensioner Brenda Vickers asked for a transformation to cover her bald patches on top.

She nearly burst into tears the moment she saw herself with "pints of hair".

And people said she looked "20 years younger".

"The transformation has been unbelievable," she said. People have said it has taken years off me.

"I heard about it through a relative's granddaughter and it was a light bulb moment for me because my hair had been thinning.
