Influencer labelled 'attention seeker' for wearing 'revealing' outfit to gym

While gym-goers head to gyms for exercise, whether it's running on the treadmill or lifting weights, many people argue that sporting a stylish workout ensemble makes them 'feel better' and more confident during their training.

Matching shorts and leggings prove to be a popular choice, alongside sleeveless tops that showcase toned arms and legs. Simply looking the part often provides enough motivation for some to hit the gym, as it gives them an excuse to wear their cute outfits. However, occasionally these fits might become a tad 'too much' for the gym environment. At least, this is what some think after seeing a fitness influencer's preferred gym outfit.

Fitness influencer Juni recently got into an argument with some of her 17,400 TikTok followers after sharing a video of herself exercising on the Stairmaster at her gym while sporting a 'revealing' bandeau top.

While she appeared stunning in the outfit, certain critical viewers claimed the strapless garment suggested she was 'begging for attention'.

In the controversial clip which has reached over 1.4 million views on TikTok, Juni showed herself using the Stairmaster while sporting a headband and Airpods.

Despite Juni's apparently innocent post, some weren't pleased with her clothing selection and flocked to the comments to voice their opinions.

"The girls who dress like this are attention seekers, sorry not sorry," one person said, while a second person commented: "Just saw a video of a man who said it makes him uncomfortable."

Meanwhile, others suggested not wearing a complete shirt at the gym proves 'unhygienic' for others.

One shared: "My college gym I worked at had a dress code. Sweat is a bodily fluid and your shirt helps stop it from going EVERYWHERE. If ya'll had to clean gym equipment after people 'cleaned it' it would make sense."

However, not all were against Juni's choice of attire. One user clarified: "I'm not against it. It just wouldn't work for my own personal melons."

Another was even inspired by the discussion, stating: "Girl this whole convo got me wanting to order all the bandeau tops right now."

Fortunately, Juni hasn't let the negative comments dampen her spirits. She's confidently worn the stylish outfit back to the gym and continues to share content online. Good on her!
