'Sex with Playboy boss Hugh Hefner was disgusting I got infected but it was my job'

In Crystal Hefner's explosive new book, she opened up about feeling like a prisoner during her loveless marriage to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. She says he made girls use baby oil rather than lube during sex

Crystal Hefner begged her husband Hugh Hefner to let her use lube rather than baby oil during sex - but he refused.

The widow of the Playboy mogul made the dark claim in her new book and said she resorted to anal sex for her own protection.

She was in a loveless marriage with Hef for five years and said the magazine publisher who was 60 years her senior never even noticed what she was doing.

Crystal, now 37, also said a doctor was on hand in the Playboy Mansion to give the girls antibiotics when they became infected from using baby oil.

And in one ominous extract of Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, she said: The sex never changed, only the faces: The silk pyjamas. The four big television screens with the same old porn reels playing. Hef getting into bed and reaching for the baby oil.

We were all getting infections from the baby oil - it wasnt supposed to be used as lube. I tried to tell him, I begged Mary to tell him, but you couldnt really tell him anything he didnt want to hear.

We tried to replace the baby oil with lube, but when we werent looking, he would always switch it back. He kept a doctor on retainer who would come when called to give us antibiotics.

To avoid infections, I sometimes resorted to anal sex when it was my turn to straddle Hef. I dont think he could ever tell the difference, and it helped me avoid a host of frontal issues. It wasnt always the easiest, but it was the best solution I could think of. The sex had become like everything at the mansion - part of my job.

Former bunnies Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt have also spoken out in the past about being made to use baby oil, which according to a National Library of Medicine study, increases the chances of a yeast injection while quickly causing condoms to break down.

Crystal herself met the lag mag boss at a Halloween party at the infamous Los Angeles mansion when she was 21 before they tied the knot five years later.

From the outside, she was living an envious life of luxury with her mega rich hubby, her flashy cars and endless designer clothes.

But in her new book she describes herself as a prisoner who was coerced and controlled by the publishing giant who picked what colour nail polish she wore and set a curfew of 6pm.

However, her book has caused a mixed response from others who were close to Hefner who died aged 91 in 2017, including former resident of the mansion Jennifer Saginor.

She said: Take off your bunny ears. Stop promoting a brand and image that you are claiming to be a victim of. It is inconsistent. She chose to be there and chose to go back. She is playing the victim card, and this takes away from actual victims of sexual abuse.

I was there for four decades, and she was there for seven years. Crystal knew what she was getting into. She got paid for her services.

And Kimberley Conrad, one of Hefs former wives who had two sons with him, also accused Crystal of making a quick buck.
