Urgent supermarket recall on popular food as customers told 'do not eat'

Pieminister warned shoppers that they've mistakenly put the wrong use-by date on some of their products - and they shouldn't eat them after a certain date

An urgent recall has been issued on pies with customers being told not to eat the products.

Pieminister, the pie producers , have sounded the alarm over a several of its pie flavours after they were put on shelves with incorrect use-by dates.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) stated: "Pieminister Kitchens is recalling various Pieminister pies as they have been labelled with an incorrect use-by date. The products have been labelled with use-by 24 June 2026 instead of use-by 24 June 2025. The products are therefore not safe to eat beyond their intended use-by of 24 June this year."

The pies are completely safe to eat until June 24, 2025. However, if you've bought a pie with a use-by date of June 24 2026, don't eat it after this date this year.

However, you can also return the pies to where you purchased it to receive your money back.

Shops and supermarkets will be putting up notices about the recall, dishing out the lowdown to customers on why the pies are being pulled and what to do if they've got one.
