'World's most tattooed man' says there's only one moment he'll stop inkings

Remy Schofield has spent an absolute fortune on his tattoos where he's already inked parts of his body over 100 times already. But the real question is will he ever stop?

A dad with thousands of pounds worth of tattoos on his body revealed when he'll finally turn his back on this passion. Remy Schofield is a huge fan of inkings and it's really not hard to see that.

After spending an eye-watering 264,000, if not more, the former chef fell in love with body art around 20 years ago when he inked his son's name. The journey began with piercings but now his main love is tattoos. Just recently, the dad, from Canada, blew minds on social media when he showed what he would look like without all his tats.

Now since Remy is quite open about his journey on Instagram, he often finds himself answering questions from his 189,000 followers.

One of his fans recently asked Remy: "Stunning work... love this journey. Is this the final product?" And unlike a simple yes or no response, the tattoo fan had plenty to share.

He replied: "So far I'm not aware there is a final product and the only honest answer I've been able to give is that I'll stop getting tattooed when I stop enjoying getting tattooed, whenever that is, that's when the final product emerges is."

Remy even told fans that since the video was shared, which was just last week, he will probably have had another few more sessions.

He continued: "I get tattooed twice a week. And I'm incrementally increasing, changing, improving, evolving this project, bit by bit per week."

Since he shared the update, followers flocked to the comments section. One said: "Magnificent." Another added: "Damn, the colours, the creatures, the art itself. That looks fire, you are awesome man."

A third praised: "Every time I come across your videos you keep getting brighter." While a fourth gushed: "Absolutely love it."

Remy turned to tattoos around 2008, just a few years after his first body modifications. He describes himself as the "real world's most tattooed man" and believes to have spent around 264,000 but isn't 100% certain.

He told Daily Star his entire body has been reworked dozens of times and the same areas still hurt inside the bum or deeper regions of the inner thighs.

The tattoo fan added: "My body percentage has been roughly the same for 15 years. What's changed is the layers with some parts of me being over 100 layers currently, most of me is between 10-40+ layers."

Remy is quite candid about his journey with us as he previously revealed how people feel about his appearance.

He mentioned: "I never get any 'bad' or 'hateful' comments from anyone family or stranger in person. I only ever hear those sorts of things from people online, in public I get only positive or curious comments.

"When I receive hate online I either ignore it or wish the hater/troll well, as I'm big enough to realise what's upset them isn't me."

We can't wait to see more of Remy's journey!
