Ant McPartlin insists he 'don't have anger issues' after revealing odd reason he left London

TV favourite Ant McPartlin has insisted he doesn't have anger issues but revealed the unusual reason he decided to leave London and why his kids accused him of having a temper

Ant McPartlin has joked that he fled London to live in Surrey because he grew tired of Lime bikes being dumped outside his Wimbledon mansion.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! host, 50, swapped his 6million south west London pad for a 10million "eco-pad" in the Surrey countryside earlier this year. While having more privacy is likely to have played a huge part in Ant's decision to move, he has now joked that the growing trend of Lime bikes being abandoned outside his home also helped seal the deal.

The bikes were regularly left outside his gates, which drove him mad.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast with Declan Donnelly, 50, the TV star ranted: "There was a period where people where I used to live used to leave their Lime bikes outside my house, just outside the gates.

"I got so angry and one day I kicked them all down but I was told that I had anger issues by the kids. I don't have anger issues. I was just angry at the people that would leave...

"There was like four of them and every day I would go out, it was as if they knew it was winding me up, and there would be one parked outside my house every day."

Ant insisted he had every right to feel furious, adding: "But that's not anger issues. I was just angry. Anger issues is you're angry at everything."

He then joked that the bikes were the real reason behind his relocation, laughing: "I had to move out of London because people were parking bikes outside me house!"

Despite his rant, Ant later admitted he actually enjoys riding Lime bikes, saying they are "very fun". The presenter also revealed he's a keen cyclist and still owns his old BMX, which he's hoping to take out for a spin.
