Bad Bunny 'removed from Super Bowl halftime show by security' after brave statement

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show appeared to end very abruptly as it looked as though the rapper was rushed off stage by security guards at the sporting event

Bad Bunny was seemingly escorted out of the Super Bowl halftime show by security guards.

Super Bowl watchers were left convinced that Bad Bunny was hustled off stage by security following his halftime spectacle. The Puerto Rican rapper delivered his entire 13-minute performance in Spanish, showcasing his greatest hits while welcoming celebrity cameos from Pedro Pascal, Cardi B and Jessica Alba.

The extravaganza also featured appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, with Gaga crooning Die with a Smile as an actual couple exchanged vows on stage. However, as Bad Bunny's show drew to a close, spectators were left bewildered when he seemed to be hurriedly escorted away by security personnel.

Bunny attempted to continue his vocals but his microphone seemingly cut out mid-sentence, causing him to remove his earpiece, reports the Express.

Concerned viewers flocked to social media with one writing: "The end of the halftime show was kind of weird, like something went wrong and Bad Bunny was being rushed off.. He was bumping into people that didn't look like it was on purpose and a security guy was seen and Bad Bunny started ripping of his microphone and turning around. Pretty strange. Might be nothing, but kinda odd for an ending for a half-time show."

Another commented: "Something didn't seem right at the end of half time. Why were they rushing Bad Bunny off like it was a security issue," as a third typed: "This poor halftime show security guy who got between Bad Bunny and the camera," whilst a fourth observed: "Security got in the middle of Bad Bunny's shot."

The unexpected finale came after Bad Bunny delivered a heartfelt message about unity, displaying an American football inscribed with the words "Together, we are America". A massive backdrop also proclaimed: "The only thing more powerful than hate is love."

Fans interpreted this as a swipe at Trump and the former President was evidently not amused. He took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to vent: "The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence."
