Bez, 58, says he keeps up with his wife, 39, in bed because of his homemade honey

The Happy Mondays star is also a regular juicer and distils all his water but, despite his healthy, organic lifestyle, still admits that he loves a 'good party'

Bez reckons the honey from his bees has him buzzing enough to keep up with his younger wife.

The Happy Mondays maracas-shaker, 58, married his long-term girlfriend and ex-personal trainer Firouzeh Razavi, 39 who he calls Frou last Saturday in a wild, booze-fuelled pagan ceremony in Herts.

The beekeeper told the Daily Star just before his Sardinian honeymoon that his bees produce plus distilled water and organic food are a cocktail for "eternal youth".

Bez said: "Ive found a healthy balance between the party lifestyle and living healthily. I juice every day, organically, I distil all my water every day and take all the fluoride and all the s**t out of my water, and basically drink loads of water and drink apple cider and eat really well.

"I eat really good food and get some exercise. I keep bees and I eat loads of honey.

"Frou reckons I eat too much honey because I probably go through probably a jar of honey a week, because I use huge spoonfuls of it, not even like small ones Im very generous with honey. Its supposed to be good for you. I live a great life."

Bez packed on weight during lockdown and says Frou helped him shift it by inspiring him with her workouts.

He previously said about admiring her dedication to exercise when they met: "Shes super fit so Ive got to keep up in the bedroom!"

But Bez said he still "loves a good party" and, if he was asked to write his vows for his recent wedding, they would have been: "Drink and be merry!"

Bez, whose real name is Mark Berry, has been in a relationship with Firouzeh since 2014.

Their nuptials came just seven weeks after the sad passing of Bez's Happy Mondays bandmate, Paul Ryder.

The musician who played bass guitar in the Northern rock band passed away on July 15 at the age of 58 just hours before the group were due to perform on stage.

His cause of death has not yet been revealed however his brother, Shaun Ryder, recalled how Paul complained of headaches in the hours leading up to his death.
