Callum Turner breaks silence on James Bond rumours and reveals baby plans with wife Dua Lipa

Callum Turner has broken his silence on the rumours he will play James Bond plus his 'amazing' wedding to Dua Lipa and plans to start a family with the popstar

Hollywood hunk Callum Turner has added fuel to growing speculation that he will replace Daniel Craig as 007 in the next James Bond movie.

The 36-year-old actor has been bookies favourite to take on the iconic role ever since he wowed in George Clooney's The Boys in the Boat in 2023, and Clooney himself came out and said Callum would make a great bond.

The legendary actor claimed Callum is "the perfect guy" for the role because he's "handsome and charming and British"

And now Callum has broken his silence on the rumours in a new interview with Esquire UK and although he refused to comment, his answer has fans convinced he's landed the role.

Pressed for answers, Callum laughed: "Im not going to comment on that either.

"I dont know anything, so I cant comment. Theres nothing for me to comment on."

Asked about reports that he's already been picked, he continued: "Theres nothing for me to comment on, and I think its best just to not say anything..

"I just know Im not going to comment on it... Just because theres no point in commenting on it in this moment."

Asked if he would he even want to play Bond Callum tells the publication the question is "so loaded".

Asides from career ambitions, the star revealed that he dreams of having children with Dua Lipa following their London wedding back in May, which he described as the "amazing" and "the most beautiful day of my life".

When asked what he wants from the next decade, Callum answers "more of the same" before adding "family" and explaining "Im 36. Id like to have a family and raise some kids."

He's full of praise for the popstar, saying "Its nice to find someone that you love and who loves you and you want to be around all the time."
