Dean Gaffney may be one of Britain's best-known soap stars, but according to Ibiza king Wayne Lineker, he's also got another title to his name. "The king of freebies."

Wayne couldn't resist taking a cheeky jibe at his longtime pal while speaking exclusively to the Daily Star at Bonito Ibiza ahead of SHEIN's swimwear showcase on the White Isle. "He loves a freebie," Wayne, 64, laughed. "Gaffney is the king of freebies." The joke comes just weeks after former EastEnders star Dean admitted his glamorous jet-set lifestyle isn't quite as lavish as many people assume.

Despite regularly being spotted living it up in Ibiza and Dubai, the 48-year-old recently confessed he wouldn't be able to afford many of the trips without help from his famous friends.

"I think people have this misconception about me," Dean previously told the Daily Star in collaboration with casino.org. "When they see me in Dubai or Ibiza, they think I'm some millionaire living a big flashy lifestyle."

He added: "The truth is, wherever I go, I'm usually staying for free because my friends have a villa or businesses out there.

"I wouldn't be able to afford going to places like Dubai four times a year if I didn't have friends who run beach clubs, restaurants or hotels."

Fortunately for Dean, one of those friends happens to be Wayne's Ibiza business partner and island heavyweight Tony Truman.

Dean revealed Tony, who owns several popular Ibiza venues, regularly looks after him whenever he visits.

The White Isle has become something of a second home for the soap favourite over the years, with Dean often sharing snaps from beach clubs, luxury restaurants and poolside parties.

But Wayne clearly isn't letting him forget who's picking up the tab.

Despite the friendly dig, the pair remain close pals and Wayne has even named Dean as his dream campmate if he ever signs up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

"Absolutely Dean Gaffney," Wayne said. "If I went in with Dean, he'd be able to tell me all the tricks and secrets."

Wayne also revealed he'd love a shot at the ITV jungle himself.

"I'm open to TV offers. I'd like to do the jungle. That's one of the big ones."
