Disturbing Pinocchio horror exposed as homicidal puppet steals human limbs

A new trailer for a horror movie based on Disney's Pinocchio has been released as terrified viewers have begun comparing the stomach-churning film to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The trailer for the new Pinocchio horror movie has just dropped and film fans are absolutely terrified.

Pinocchio: Unstrung's release date has not yet been announced, but the trailer has now dropped and horror fans can't believe how deeply disturbing the Disney character has become.

The story follows a young boy as he learns of his grandfather's deadly secret. The twist? His grandpa is Gepetto and his project Pinocchio is out for blood.

The trailer shows a wooden puppet, mangled and covered with cracks as he tells James: "I want to be just like you," while reaching his creepy fingers out to his face. He joins forces with Jiminy Cricket and the pair attempt to "take everything the humans have" so that Pinocchio can be "just like James".

Someone wrote: "So is this meant for kids to also watch?" as another person chimed in: "They are popping out Poohniverse movies like its the MCU."

Another X/Twitter user added: "Hold up this doesnt look HORRIBLE horrible???" while a second said: "This actually has potential." A third person weighed in: "Pinocchio is already a horror movie, remember those kids that were turned into Donkeys to work in the mines? Yeah, that was never reversed."

Horror fans can't wait for the film's release

Other people continued comparing the Twisted Childhood Universe to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as one person typed: "Me watching the Poohniverse become the peak of cinema," as a second said: "First Pooh, then Peter Pan, now Pinocchio. The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) better watch out, the TCU (Twisted Childhood Universe) is coming for the crown."
