Fans believe they've figured out Ariana Grande's next starring role and it's a part of a huge media franchise. Following the global success of the two Wicked movies, where the popstar portrayed leading character Glinda alongside Cynthia Erivo, her followers believe she's dropped a big clue about her next film project.
They are convinced that Ariana is set to star in the upcoming Minecraft sequel alongside actor/ comedian Jack Black - Who played the lead role Steve in the first Minecraft Movie, which was released last year and received mixed reviews but was a big hit with the box office.

The fans' theory comes after the singer followed Jack on Instagram and her followers pointed out that she tends to follow people she's working with before making any official announcements.
One fan wrote: "Ariana Grande has followed Jack Black on Instagram. She normally follows people she works with before things are announced."
Whilst another commented: "minecraft movie 2 casting announcements left and right, trust she's voicing the ender dragon or something."
The timing of the following is suspicious too as just last week Jack confirmed he will be returning for the Minecraft Movie sequel, alongside Danielle Brooks (Dawn), Matt Berry (Villager) and Jennifer Coolidge (Marlene). Plus it was announced that Kirsten Dunst has also been cast to play Alex.
According to Jason Momoa, who will return as Garrett The Garbage Man Garrison, filming for the sequel is due to start next month and the script is even better than the original and had him "laughing out loud" when first reading it.
Ariana is embarking on her Eternal Sunshine tour from June thought till September however has previously said it will be her last tour "for a long, long, long, long time".
