    Ann Widdecombe's death on Thursday (July 9) has left many fans floored. After news of her death broke in the early hours of Friday morning (July 10), many have been left shocked after learning of her passing aged 78.

    Former Tory MP Ann was a controversial figure, often speaking out against LGBTQIA+ rights and being a staunch Brexiteer. She was one of the several elected British MEPs who celebrated the UK leaving the EU and had since defected to Reform UK.

    But aside from her divisive politics, Ann was still a regular star on television. Her various appearances left viewers in tears, laughing and thinking deeply about certain subjects all while she took on huge new challenges.
